Established in 1995, Chorus is unique among healthcare IT firms with a mission, staff and ownership all focused on community health centers.
Our mission is to provide integrated software solutions and services that meet the clinical and management information needs of ambulatory health care organizations. We do this by making healthcare information available whenever and wherever it's needed in a way that is simple and easy for clinical, operational and supporting staff to use.
Chorus is owned by two CHC-related organizations, Presbyterian Medical Services (PMS) and the RCHN Community Health Foundation, the only foundation in the country devoted exclusively to CHCs. Chorus is led and staffed by community health veterans who share a commitment to both customer service and to HIT research and development.
At Chorus, we work hard to identify and apply new technologies that facilitate the delivery of effective healthcare services. Our leadership, staff and ownership are dedicated to designing, implementing and supporting software solutions that:
- Efficiently integrate and organize patient demographic, financial and clinical information.
- Optimize access to and efficient use of patient records.
- Facilitate cost containment and sound financial management.
With our collective decades of experience in community health, we recognize that it takes more than hardware and software alone to create an effective HealthCare Information Technology (HIT) solution. That's why:
- We maintain one of the lowest client-to-support-staff ratios among major healthcare software developers.
- Our clients receive unlimited, toll-free access to a dedicated account manager and customer relationship leader, ensuring that any issues that arise are resolved with maximum efficiency.
- All Chorus applications are developed and tested to insure they are intuitive, user-friendly and easily navigable.
- We pioneered Chorus University: the first web based training and continuing education system that allows clients to select subject-specific instructional programs, then work at their own pace to obtain certification from anywhere at anytime.
Chorus is committed to ensuring that healthcare organizations, and especially community health centers, realize the full benefit of information technology in increased efficiency and enhanced quality of care.
