Ross To Lead Development at MDSERVE
STAFFORD, TEXAS, August 4, 2005 - Jock Putney, CEO of MDSERVE, Inc. ("MDSERVE") has announced the appointment of John Ross as Vice President of Development effective immediately. Ross will have responsibility for all program and application development and will report directly to Mike Holton, MDSERVE COO and Vice President of Product Management.
Putney stated. "We're fortunate to have someone with John's extensive experience who has led development teams through all phases of software specification, design, development, validation and deployment to head up our Development team. His work as a lead developer, lead engineer and lead DBA at Compaq and Hewlett-Packard make him ideally suited to direct our development efforts as we roll out new MDSERVE V7 and integrate the Core Systems, Data Mining, Decision Support, and Executive Information and Reporting Tools that fulfill our vision to provide a Total Technology Solution."
"I am delighted to have this opportunity to help design and build a complete healthcare IT solution that meets the needs and will function in the variety of settings in which healthcare providers operate," Ross said. "In the past I've dealt with the challenge of designing workflow systems and implementing software -to-factory delivery production systems. In my new role at MDSERVE I can now apply that experience more broadly in a way that's directly beneficial for our clients."
Ross is a graduate of University of Houston's College of Business Administration where he received a BS degree in Management Information Systems.
